OVERVIEW:
East Vancouver or "East Van" as it is called by locals, has been home to residents since 1880, making it one of the oldest neighbourhoods in the city. The East side is personified by its diversity and ability to change and transform.
This photo experience will take you to some of the more interesting parts of this area and behind the scenes to the alleyways. Here we will see amazing colours, textures and history that defines East Van.
This is a fascinating photo experience because you will get to see a part of Vancouver that most visitors don't see, but should. You will love it!

A 2 hour, guided photowalk
Photography instruction as and when necessary

WHAT TO EXPECT:
This photo experience will be done on foot.
You don't need to be very fit to be able to attend, but you should be able to walk easily with your camera equipment for 2 hours.
You may need to climb up short flights of stairs
You may be walking on sidewalks and terrain that may be wet and slippery, please be careful.
DON'T FORGET:
Camera - DSLR, mirrorless or smartphone, in fact...any camera will do
A selection of lenses - wide angle lenses to medium range zoom lenses
Tripod - optional, not necessary
Walking shoes
A sense of humour!

Regardless of the weather, you will be immersed in photography, learning to make beautiful images and using your camera gear in all situations. And the bonus is you get to see new places, meet other photographers and improve your photography skills.
