WHAT WE WILL SEE AND PHOTOGRAPH:
The Steam Clock
Grafitti and urban art in the alleyways of Gastown
Hotel Europe, Vancouver's Flatiron building
Gastown is one of Vancouver's oldest neighbourhoods and has a colourful history. It was founded by a "gassy" (chatty) Englishman called Jack Deighton. It was home to lumberjacks, hotel owners, brothel madams and sailors. Apart from the interesting characters who lived and worked in Gastown, it has some beautiful old buildings and architecture.
On this photo experience, we will visit well-known icons of Gastown. We will spend time on the glitzy streets, home to well-known clothing and shoe brands and we will head behind the scenes to photograph the amazing textures and graffiti-covered alleyways.
This is a unique photo experience because you will get the best of both worlds and see places that only locals know about.
